During an interview with Variety, Jesse Eisenberg spoke about his role as Lex Luthor in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice. Here are highlights:
On playing the character in future Superman films: “I would love to. It’s a great group and director, and the most ideal character to play.”
On if he was a fan of Superman growing up: “No. I never minded him. [I watched the movies] just to understand the context of this one. But no, not as a child.”
On if his head is shaved for Luthor: “I can’t say anything about this stuff. They want all this to be a surprise.”
The film stars Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck, Amy Adams, Gal Gadot, Laurence Fishburne, Diane Lane, Jesse Eisenberg, Jeremy Irons, Jena Malone, Holly Hunter and Scoot McNairy. It will be released on March 25, 2016.
