According to Collider the reboot of The Green Lantern could focus on three of the most popular human Green Lanterns, Hal Jordan, John Stewart and Guy Gardner. The reboot isn’t supposed to release until 2020, so take that theory with a grain of salt. It is possible that one or all of the characters will appear before then in Justice League. We might get more on this story when Warner Bros takes the stage at the San Diego Comic Con.
Meanwhile, Latino Review is reporting that Chris Pine, who at one point was thought to be playing Hal Jordan, is the top choice to play that member of the Lantern Corps. You may recall that the actor was circling the role of Steve Trevor for the solo Wonder Woman film, but LR asserts that was merely a smokescreen as Captain James Kirk inches closer to wearing the ring of power.
