Zack Snyder and Gal Gadot recently spoke with Entertainment Weekly about Wonder Woman’s role in Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice.
Snyder on Wonder Woman’s role in the film: “She plays a super-important part. In a lot of ways, she’s the gateway drug to ?the rest of the ?Justice League.”
Gadot on taking on the role: “There are so many expectations for this character, it’s impossible not to? be a little nervous about it.”
Gadot on training for Wonder Woman: “I love doing the swordplay stuff. It’s another skill to add to my collection…I’m still working on [the lasso].”
Gadot on auditioning with a scene from Pulp Fiction: “I knew [the role] was big and it was for one of the franchises…[Snyder] said, ‘Well, I don’t know how big [Wonder Woman] is in Israel…’ and my jaw just dropped. There are so many expectations for this character, it’s impossible not to? be a little nervous about it.”
