According to a recent report from Deadline, Travis Knight, director of Kubo and the Two Strings is set to direct Bumblebee for Paramount Pictures. This will be the first spinoff for the Transformers franchise. Bumblebee will be Knight’s first live-action film, after Kubo was his directorial debut. Michael Bay and Steven Spielberg will produce with Hasbro’s Brian Goldner and Stephen Davis.
