Five teens arrested in connection with Carterville burglary

Five teenagers have been arrested in Williamson County in connection to a burglary at a Carterville home Monday. Williamson County Sheriff’s authorities pulled over a white car full of juvenile males along Route 13 Monday afternoon. They’re accused of stealing guns and other items from a home on Burghoff Street. Two guns were found in the vehicle, and cash and knives were found in other locations. Since the accused are juveniles, no names have been released, and few details are being released. All of the teens involved have been released to their parents pending charges by juvenile authorities and the state’s attorney.
