Marion – The identity of a man found dead in Union County earlier this week is now being released. The Union County Sheriff’s Office has identified the man as 53-year-old Jeffrey Spicer of Murphysboro. Spicer’s body was found along Illinois Route 3 near Wolf Lake early Sunday morning. An autopsy was performed in Marion yesterday with results still pending. Anyone with information on Spicer’s Death is being asked to contact the Union County Sheriff’s Office at 833-5500.
