Anna – A Cobden man is set to spend the next three-years behind bars after being sentenced in connection to a Union County wreck earlier this year. A release from Union County State’s Attorney Tyler Edmonds states that 47-year-old Roy Scott Johnson was sentenced to a three year sentence after pleading guilty to one count of aggravated DUI, which is a class 2 felony. The sentencing stems from a traffic crash on Skyline Drive in Cobden in January. Upon his release, Johnson will also serve a mandatory two-year supervised release.
