Marion Police Arrest Two on Drug Charges

Marion – A Marion man is behind bars after a month-long investigation. According to a release from the Marion Police Department, Justin M. Opell was arrested by the narcotics division on charges of dealing and possession of meth, possession of a controlled substance and paraphernalia charges. Opell is being held in the Williamson County Jail awaiting a court appearance.

A Marion man is behind bars on several drug charges. According to a release from the Marion Police Department, the narcotics unit cited 35-year-old Carl Boyce on charges after an undercover detective met with Boyce to purchase drugs. After the arrest was made, a warrant was obtained and a search of Boyce’s room at the Motel Marion and officers were able to locate meth, cannabis and prescription drugs along with packaging material and weighing equipment. Boyce is being held in the Williamson County Jail awaiting a court appearance.
