Carbondale Halloween Celebration to Allow Carry of Open Containers

Carbondale – Those celebrating Halloween in Carbondale this year will be allowed to carry open containers of alcohol after the City Council voted to allow open containers at a meeting last night. The council says that their vote was bolstered by the success of city events during the solar eclipse last summer. The rules will remain the same as during the eclipse. The special open container rule will begin at 11 the morning of October 27th and end at 11:59 that night. For more information about Carbondale’s Halloween celebration, visit carbondalehalloween.com.
