Coulterville Woman Severely Injured in Single Vehicle Accident Involving Deer

Randolph Co. – A Coulterville woman is recovering after a single vehicle wreck in Randolph county. According to a report from the Illinois State Police the accident happened yesterday afternoon on IL Route 154 near Cheridan Road in rural Randolph County when a vehicle being driven by 46-year-old Darcy Betsch swerved to avoid a deer and ended up losing control of the vehicle, leaving the roadway before hittingĀ  a tree. Betsch suffered severe injuries and was airlifted to a St. Louis area hospital.
