Saline Co. – A request for a new mental health evaluation for former Saline Co. Doctor Brian Burns has been denied. Burns lawyer had requested the re-evaluation on Friday, and a hearing was set for yesterday, but online records show that the lawyer then withdrew the request. Burns stands accused of killing his wife Carla Burns in 2016 and burning her body to hide the evidence.
