Saline Co. – A Hardin County man is behind bars after an investigation into a stolen handgun. According to a release from the Saline County Sheriff’s Office, a gun was reported stolen from a home on Blackman Hill Road on September 24th. A tip led deputies to interview Koty Caraker of Rosiclare, who admitted to stealing the firearm. Caraker was arrested and is being charged with theft and possession of a stolen firearm. Caraker is being held in the Saline County Detention Center. The case remains under investigation.
