First Man features Ryan Gosling playing Neil Armstrong in a film about the real events of Armstrong and his first venture to the moon.  You’ll be in suspense as the events of the “most dangerous mission in history” unfold. Rotten tomatoes has this the highest rating of the bunch, with a really fresh 89%,

Bad Times at the El Royale features an all-star cast featuring Jeff Bridges, Cynthia Erivo, Dakota Johnson, Jon Hamm, Cailee Spaeny, Lewis Pullman and Chris Hemsworth.
These seven characters all have their own secrets, all trying to get them buried.  They all meet at the same place, and they all have a last shot at redemption. Rottentomatoes.com likes this one too, giving it 73%.

And finally, we have Wendi McLendon-Covey and Jack Black starring in Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween, based on R.L. Stine’s 400-million-selling series of books.  Goosebumps kind of stinks as told by rottentomatoes.com, giving it a 38%.
