West Frankfort – The West Frankfort City Council is meeting tonight and will be discussing a change to the number of Class A liquor licenses available in town, among other things. According to City Clerk Angie Baker Deaton, the council had voted to change the number of Class A licenses from 10 to 15 in November last year, but an ordinance was never completed. The item will come to a vote from the council. The council will also look at approving several quotes regarding repairs including sidewalk repairs, curb and asphalt repairs and the installation of six new LED parking lot fixtures at the mall. The meeting is open to the public.
