Cairo – The city of Cairo is receiving 1 million in funding for a proposed river port terminal. According to a release from Senator Dale Fowler’s office, the funding is a commitment to a project that is critical for the people of Cairo and the surrounding communities, demonstrating that the state is invested in working to revitalize the area.
