Carbondale – The Carbondale City Council is tabling a decision on the proposed solar panel farm in northeast Carbondale, at least for the next two weeks. The move came at the City Council meeting last night. The solar panel farm has been a controversial subject due to the proposed placement of the project, which would put it in the location of the old Kopper’s Wood Treatment plant. The soil in the area has been found by the EPA to be contaminated. The item will be discussed further at the next City Council meeting, October 23rd.
