The 4th Veterans Honor Flight is set to take place tomorrow with local veterans getting the chance to visit the nation’s capitol and return home to a well-deserved hero’s welcome! The Honor Flight program is a nation-wide network dedicated to providing all veterans who apply a free trip to Washington D.C. to visit memorials honoring their service and sacrifice. The veterans will leave from Veterans Airport of Southern Illinois in Marion early tomorrow morning and the welcome home event begins with shuttles leaving from Sam’s Club, Cornerstone Church and Community of Faith Church starting at 5:00pm
