Marion Man Sentenced In Connection to Meth Distribution Ring

Marion – A Marion man is set to spend the next 10 years behind bars for his role in a meth distribution ring in Williamson County. According to a release from the Department of Justice Illinois Southern District, 35-year old Timothy Meadows has been sentenced to 121 months in federal prison after pleading guilty to conspiracy to distribute more than 50 grams of meth during the time between April of 2017 and January of this year. At the sentencing it was determined that Meadows was responsible for the distribution of roughly 450 grams of meth. Meadows received an enhanced sentence as it was found that he often carried a loaded crossbow with him while dealing the drug.
