IDOT- The Illinois Department of Transportation would like to alert motorists traveling on Illinois 169 of upcoming construction. Beginning at 7 a.m. Monday, Oct. 29, shoulder work will begin on the eastbound and westbound lanes of Illinois 169 between Illinois 37 and U.S. 45 in Pulaski and Massac counties. Signs and flaggers will be in place to alert motorists. Minor delays are expected. Motorists should reduce speed, be alert to equipment and workers and use extreme caution while traveling through all work zones
