Murphysboro –President Trump made his appearance on Saturday at the Southern Illinois Airport in Murphysboro to a crowd estimated to be over 4000 strong inside the hangar alone despite considering cancelling the event due to the tragedy in Pittsburgh. President Trump spoke on the shooting, calling it “an anti-Semitic attack at its worst,” The President continued “the scourge of anti-Semitism cannot be ignored it can’t be tolerated and it cannot be allowed to continue. President Trump, who was in the area rallying for Congressman Mike Bost, who is in a tight race with the election just a week away, also spoke on the importance of getting out to vote in the upcoming midterm election. Bost won a long-time Democrat stronghold in the 12th District back in 2014, and is virtually tied with St. Clair County State’s Attorney Brenden Kelly in the polls.
