Franklin Co. – Two Texas men are recovering after a wreck on I-57 in Williamson County yesterday morning. According to a release from the Illinois State Police, the accident happened on southbound 57 at milepost 52 when a semi being driven by 28-year-old Johnathan Harold Swanson of Houston, Texas began to hydroplane on the wet roadway before leaving the interstate and overturning. Both Swanson and a passenger, Mark Brown of Cosicana, TX suffered non-life threatening injuries are were taken via ambulance to Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion for treatment. Swanson is being cited for driving too fast for conditions and improper lane usage.
