Anna – Two Anna facilities are set to receive state funding for repairs. Senator Dale Fowler made the announcement on Friday that both the Anna Veterans Home and Choate Mental Health and Development Center will see state funding as part of the 2019 fiscal year budget plan. The Anna Veterans Home will receive $200,000 to replace it’s failing decades old nurse call system. Choate will receive $1,009,500 for the repair and update of their water tower, ensuring that the tower is up to code and standards.
