West Frankfort – A winning lottery ticket has been sold in West Frankfort! According to a release from the Illinois Lottery, the winning ticket for the “Lucky Day” $700,000 jackpot was sold at the Casey’s General Store on E. Main St. in West Frankfort. The winning numbers were 5, 12, 14, 36 and 42. Lottery officials urge the winner to sign the back of their ticket and keep it in a safe location until they are able to visit one of the state’s five prize centers. The southern Illinois location is in Fairview Heights. The Casey’s in West Frankfort will receive $7,000 for selling the ticket, one percent of the total prize.
