Carbondale Man Pleads Guilty to Recent Bank Robbery; Sentenced to 20-years

Carbondale – A Carbondale man is set to spend the next 20-years behind bars after pleading guilty to a bank robbery. According to a release from the Jackson County State’s Attorney’s Office,  Darrell Hendricks pleaded guilty yesterday to the robbery, which took place October 29th at the First Mid-Illinois Bank and Trust location inside of Schnucks on West Main Street in Carbondale. The robbery marked Hendricks second attempt at bank robbery, as he was arrested in 2012 on similar charges.
