Chiacgo (AP) – The Illinois Commerce Commission has scheduled a winter preparedness policy session to ensure there is ample natural gas for the heating season. ICC Chairman Brien J. Sheahan will lead the policy session Monday from 10:45 to 11:15am in Chicago. The meeting will focus on how the U.S. natural gas market and region will meet the winter demand in the coming months. Representatives from regional transmission organizations, Illinois local distribution companies and utility companies will provide information on what they are doing to ensure that Illinois consumers have a safe and reliable gas supply.
