Johnson Co. – The Johnson County Sheriff’s Department is asking residents to be on the lookout after an attempted break-in at a home in a rural part of the county. According to a report from the Sheriff’s Department, the incident happened at a home on US Highway 45 North. The suspect is described as a white male with dark colored hair and is believed to be driving an early 2000’s model Nissan half-cab pickup with a dark green decal down each side. Those living in the area are asked to keep your homes and outer buildings locked.
