Children 2 and Under Will Be Required to Ride in Rear-Facing Child Safety Seats Starting Jan. 1st

Marion – With the new year approaching, new laws will begin coming into affect. One new law this year involves child safety seats. Starting January 1st, all children under the age of two must be placed in a rear-facing child safety seat. A $75 fine will be handed out if a driver is pulled over and their child is not in a rear facing seat.
