USDA – Jimmy Dean’s Heat n Serve Sausages are being called back after consumers have found pieces of metal in the sausage links. CTI foods has issued a recall on Jimmy Dean branded ready to eat pork and sausage products due to foreign matter contamination, specifically to 23.4-oz. pouches of “Jimmy Dean HEAT ’n SERVE Original SAUSAGE LINKS Made with Pork & Turkey” with a use by date of Jan. 31, 2019. The product bears case code A6382168, with a time stamp range of 11:58 through 01:49. The USDA has recieved several reports of metal pieces being found in the links. If you have one of the recalled products, you are asked to throw it away or to return it to the place of purchase.
