West Frankfort – The West Frankfort City Council approved the tax levy ordinance for the city at Tuesday night’s meeting. The annual tax levy will be for the fiscal year starting on May 1, 2018 and ending on April 30, 2019. The fire chief will also obtain bids for the replacement of 18 SCBA air packs, spear bottles and a R.I.T pack to replace out of date items for the West Frankfort Fire Department and report back to the council at a future date.
