Franklin Co. – Two Ewing residents were involved in a two-vehicle crash Monday in Franklin County. Sheriff David Bartoni says Charles D. Cummings and Brianna J. Howell were both going south on Route 37 at Route 154 when a trash truck slowed down in front of Howell. Howell slowed to a stop. Cummings was unable to stop, swerved and struck Howell. Neither driver was injured. Cummings was ticketed for failure to reduce speed.
