Cairo – A new weight restriction is now in effect for vehicles traveling over the US 60/62 Bridge in Cairo. According to a release from the Illinois Department of Transportation, the restriction is 37 tons for combination vehicles and 33 tons for single vehicles. The restriction starts today due to repair plans that are now in progress.
