Union Co. Home Badly Damaged in Early Morning Fire

Wolf Lake – A Union County home is badly damaged after a fire yesterday morning. According to a release from the Ware-Wolf Lake Fire Department, fire crews were called out to a home on Route 3 shortly before 7am after the Fire Chief, who was headed into work, noticed smoke coming from the home. Crews from Jonesboro assisted and were able to put out the blaze. The owner of the home was not inside at the time. No injuries are being reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
