Saline Co. – Snow played a role in a two-vehicle crash that happened shortly before 7 Friday night in Saline County. Illinois State Police say 70-year-old Ida M. Haney of Eldorado was driving her SUV south on U.S. 45 at Muddy Road and lost control on the snow covered roadway and traveled over into the northbound lane striking a semi driven by 53-year-old Eddy J. Debose of Carmi. Debose was not hurt in the crash. Haney was taken to a local hospital. Haney was cited for driving too fast for conditions. ISP was assisted on scene by the Harrisburg Police Department, the Saline County Sheriff’s Department and Saline County Ambulance
