Franklin Co. – The identity of a woman discovered in a rural area of Franklin Co. has been released. According to a release from the Franklin Co. Sheriff’s Office, 30-year-old Brandy Hughes of Zeigler was found unconscious in a rural area west of Zeigler by a group of ATV riders. Hughes was pronounced dead after being taken to a local hospital. Anyone with information regarding either incident should contact the Franklin Co. Sheriff’s Office at 438-4841.
