Herrin – A death in Herrin is under investigation and Herrin Police are asking for the public’s help in solving it. According to a release from the Herrin Police Department, 50-year-old Jeffery Ennis was found dead at his home on the 700 block of North 17th street at around 5:20 on Sunday morning. Investigators are asking to speak with anyone who was in the area of 17th and Taylor streets between 3:30 and 5:30 Sunday morning.
