Massac Co. – IDOT says lane closures are now in effect this week from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. on the I-24 Ohio River Bridge in Metropolis. The closures are necessary so crews can perform the bi-annual bridge inspection. Lane closures will also be in effect next Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Emergency vehicles will be allowed through the construction site as quickly as possible. You are encouraged to seek alternate routes while this work is underway.
