Pinckneyville Soldier Dies in Non-Combat Related Accident in Kuwait

DOD – A Pinckneyville native is dead as the result of a “non-combat related incident” in Kuwait earlier this week. According to the release from the DOD, 37-year-old Sgt. Holli Bolinski was one of  two soldiers killed in a traffic crash while on a mission, along with Specialist  Jackson Johnson of Hillsboro, MO. Both were assigned to the 657th Transportation Company, 419th Transportation Battalion, 103rd Sustainment Command out of Mt. Vernon. They were serving in Kuwait as part of Operation Inherent Resolve. The incident remains under DOD investigation.
