Hamilton Co. – Several oil tanks are destroyed after a fire in Hamilton County Saturday night. According to a report from the Hamilton Co. Sheriff’s Office, Fire Crews from McLeansboro, Norris City and Eldorado responded along with the Sheriff’s Office to a reported fire at an oil field tank battery located on County Road 450 at round 10:50 Saturday night. It is believed that a lightning strike was to blame for the fire. Six of the tanks are considered a total loss. No injuries are being reported.
