HAMCO Health Department Hosting Electronic Recycling Day

McLeansboro – The Hamilton County Health Department and Trade Industries of McLeansboro will be having an Electronic Recycling Day on Thursday, April 25 and Friday, April 26, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Trade Industries of McLeansboro on South Jackson Street. You can’t take electronics to the landfill, put them in the trash or have them incinerated any more. You must recycle your electronic devices. There will be a $5 charge for televisions and computer monitors. You will be limited to seven electronic devices per vehicle.

Items that will be accepted include any computer, computer monitor, television,  printer, electronic keyboard, fax machine, VCR, portable digital music player with memory and battery power, DVD player, video game console, electronic mouse, scanner, digital converter box, cable receiver, satellite receiver, DVD recorder, small-scale server, cell phone, computer cable, portable digital assistant and zip drive.
