Pulaski Co. – An FAA investigation is underway after a plane made an emergency landing on Interstate 57 in Pulaski Co. last night. According to a release from the Pulaski Co. Sheriff’s Office, dispatchers received word that a plane had landed in the southbound lanes near mile marker 5 at around 8:30 last night. They say that the small plane, which was carrying two pilots, experienced engine loss and was forced to land. The pilots were able to get the plane off to the side of the road but the driving lane was closed for roughly two and a half hours due to a wing that extended into the lane of traffic. No injuries are being reported.
