Mounds – A 15-year-old girl is recovering after being struck by a tree in a Mounds park during Friday’s severe storms. According to a release from the Pulaski Co. Emergency Management Agency, the report came in at just before 5:00 that the girl had been injured. She was transported to a local hospital for treatment before being airlifted to a larger hospital with severe injuries. There is no update on her status at this time.
