Cave-in-Rock Ferry Operational After Brief Shutdown Due to Mechanical Issues

Cave-in-Rock – Cave-in-Rock Ferry is up and running after a brief closure yesterday morning due to a mechanical issue. According to a release from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, an oil line repair was made after the ferry was shut down at just before noon yesterday, allowing the ferry to resume operations by around 5pm. The ferry operates seven days a week from 6am until 10pm, carrying approximately 500 vehicles across the Ohio River daily.
