Consumer Product Safety Commission Issues Recall for Nearly 40,000 Fireworks

CPSC – The fourth of July means firework season is here, and the Consumer Product Safety Commission is posting four separate recalls on fireworks that pose a safety hazard to those who would use them. The recall consists of nearly 40,000 fireworks, including these brands: Grandma’s Fireworks, GS Fireworks, Patriot Pyrotechnics/Bill’s Fireworks and Keystone. The say that these fireworks are overloaded with pyrotechnics in order to produce a louder noise, but can also result in a “greater than expected explosion.
