Springfield – Governor JB Pritzker is touring the state celebrating his $45 billion Rebuild Illinois Capital Plan, and this morning he is making a stop in southern Illinois. The governor will be at Walker’s Bluff in Carterville to celebrate the new casino license for the facility that is included in his Capital Plan. The goal is to turn Walker’s Bluff into a tourist destination in southern Illinois. After that the Governor will be at Laborers Local 773 in Marion to speak on infrastructure investments that are a part of his plan and the impact that these moves will have on the area. The governor will be making a number of stops throughout Illinois in the coming weeks to highlight how rebuilding our roads, bridges, universities and crime lab will support more than 500,000 jobs statewide.
