KTC – The Cave-in-Rock Ferry is back to normal operations today after a closure on Saturday due to a mechanical issue. In a release from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet, it was announced that the Ferry was suspending services at 6:00am Saturday so that maintenance and repair could be performed on the ferry’s rudders. It is believed that the rudder was damaged by debris due to the extended flooding in the Ohio River. The ferry resumed operations yesterday afternoon and will run during regular hours today.
