Benton – A Benton man is dead as the result of a jet ski accident at Lake Benton Sunday afternoon. According to a release from the Franklin Co. Coroner’s Office, 73-year-old Gary Graham has been identified as the man killed in the accident. Preliminary reports from the IDNR state that Graham and another man were riding a jet ski when the driver made a quick turn, throwing both himself and Graham from the jet ski. The driver states that he swam after the jet ski and that Graham swam toward the boat dock, but went under and never surfaced. Neither man was wearing a life jacket. IDNR is investigating along with the Franklin County Coroner’s office and an autopsy has been scheduled.
