Three Injured, One Arrested in Friday Night Carbondale Shooting

Carbondale – Three people are recovering and one is behind bars following a shooting that took place in Carbondale on Friday. According to a release from the Carbondale Police Department, officers were called to the 700 block of North Robert A. Stalls Avenue at around 6:17 on Friday evening. When officers arrived they found three victims, two with possible life-threatening injuries. They were transported to Carbondale Memorial Hospital via ambulance. During their investigation, officers found that the gunshots had been the result of a dispute and were able to make one arrest. Charges are pending but names will not be released as police continue to investigate. The Carbondale PD asks that anyone with information on the shooting contact them at 457-3200.
