Carbondale – A 17-year-old is behind bars in connection to the Friday night shooting in Carbondale that injured three. According to a release from the Carbondale Police Department, officers have arrested a 17 year old juvenile, who is in custody and has been charged with Unlawful Use of Weapons and Aggravated Discharge of a Firearm. The two individuals who received life-threatening injuries are now expected to be released from the hospital after successful medical treatment. The third individual who was treated for non-life threatening injuries has been released from the hospital. Investigators have determined a dispute among acquaintances led to the shooting incident. There is no further information to be released at this time, including the identity of those involved. The investigation remains active and ongoing.
