MARION – A suspect in a hit and run that left two injured in Williamson Co. over the weekend has been identified, but not caught.
According to a release from Williamson County Sheriff Bennie Vick, the investigation into the incident, which happened at the Red Zone Bar and Grill on Route 37 north of Marion over the weekend, found the male driver of the vehicle was fleeing the scene after involvement in a fight that broke out in the parking lot of the bar. On his way out, he struck two people, hospitalizing both.
Vick says that the driver crashed and abandoned his vehicle at the intersection of Route 37 and Stotlar Rd. Those with information regarding the incident are asked to contact the sheriff’s office at 997-6541.
