One Suspect Identified in Friday Morning Woodlawn Shooting

WOODLAWN – The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office has identified and is searching for one suspect believed to have been involved in an early Friday morning shooting in Woodlawn.

Jefferson County Sheriff Jeff Bullard said 20-year-old Jeremy J. Brock is just one of multiple individuals believed to be involved with the shooting in the 500 block of Main St. Brock has been charged with home invasion and is wanted on a $500,000 warrant.

The victim, who has not been identified, was taken to a St. Louis area hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.

Bullard says the other suspects involved have not currently been identified, but it is believed that those involved fled to the Peoria area following the shooting.
